Total lunar eclipses are created by the Moon being in close proximity to the Nodes. They always fall on the Full Moon, when the Moon is in the shadow of the Earth.

Tonight’s eclipse is particularly strong as it is part of a large sequence of 4 Eclipse. This begun on 15th April 2014, tonight's eclipse is the second, followed up by two next year on April 4th & the last one on Sept 28th. Have a think back to what was going on in your life around the last Eclipse on the 15th April, processions of Eclipses, always have a running theme & are always interlinked.

Tonight’s Lunar Eclipse can be seen as a symbolic & spiritual threshold that we passover.

We complete the zodiac, as we pass through the last sign of watery deeply emotional Pisces, into the first zodiac sign of fiery, pioneering, passionate Aries.

Aries being the first of the personal signs, spiritually symbolises that our internal Winter is over, Summer is almost here, this is time to be brave & break free from our chrysalis with open hearted joy.

Now is the time to embrace the next step in our personal individuation & evolution. By harnessing our energy to positive effect & boldly striding forward, we are leaving behind the old & taking a big step closer to reaching our highest potential.

It is a time of great magick & cosmic energy, when the zodiac turns full circle and starts a new cycle, it’s a time of rebirth. Although Aries is about personal growth, this months Moon is Conjunct Uranus & Square Pluto, this brings other people, particularly friends, group dynamics & the greater collective into the equation.

These planetary angles can both be pretty challenging, Uranus can create sudden dramas & unexpected developments, whilst Pluto has the potential to add a lot of intensity & deep emotional experiences.

At the moment, with Mercury, the planet who rules communication in retrograde until the 26th Oct, however tempting it might be, it’s really best to leave any big talks till the start of November. Due to the combination of all these planetary aspects, any compromises or solutions sought out over the next few day could backfire & if anything add extra fuel.

So remember, even if friends are wanting to be super social, ideally tonight’s fiery red Aries Moon, want’s to be about just you, following the beat of your own drum.
